Since Obama's speech was relocated to INVESCO life has been pretty interesting. In less than 60 days we've managed to do the physical set-up of a remote office, develop a significant understanding of a 76k - seat event operation, and staff and execute 2 NFL games and 1 major national event (DNC). It's times like this when you get a true understanding of just how amazing some people are.

It's not so much that I think high fashion, bullet-proof street clothing is uncool -- more that I'm severely alarmed that it's necessary.

The Miguel Caballero Web site is a much better indicator of the target demographic, but the above photo gives you an idea of the disturbing concept of mainstreaming a product that should only be necessary for professionals. It should be mentioned that the clothier is opening a boutique in South Africa since he's done so well in Columbia. The featured jacket can withstand a bullet launched from an AK-47.

For those of us whose workday doesn't end at 5p -- or end in general -- this is amazing.

things i've learned...

i try to learn from anything and everything i do --
today (rather, just now) i learned that there is actually such a circumstance as being so tired that you can't sleep. there is an end in sight -- not near, but it's there -- so it's all still fun and games, but i've never been so knowledgeable about the various types of energy drinks. and i'm clearly a terrible writer in this state.

i despise being bored, so i guess i sort of love my life : )
